Dawson Metal Company Inc. of Jamestown, has appointed Alex Moore to the position of senior vice president of sales and marketing.
Moore will be responsible for strengthening the position of Dawson Metal in the global market for close tolerance, custom metal-fabricated components sold to original equipment manufacturers. Moore will join David G. Dawson, president; Rick Carlson, senior vice president of operations; and Guy F. Lombardo, senior vice president of finance, in positioning Dawson Metal for growth.
Dawson Metal and Dawson Doors have been providing the highest quality engineering and sheet metal fabrications to their customers since the company was founded in 1946 by George and Axel Dawson. Dawson Metal has achieved success in the market place for 66 years and is one of the few third-generation, family-owned manufacturing companies of its stature still operating in New York state.

Moore has provided sales and marketing expertise for multiple manufacturing companies in New York, Ohio and Mississippi since graduating from the State University at Fredonia in 1998. He specializes in targeted marketing programs, managing sales efforts and turning prospects into customers.
