Donald J. and Karen G. Bifaro of Ellington, N.Y., celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Nov. 19, 2011, with a surprise anniversary party and the renewal of their vows at the Grandview of Ellington. Walter Klyczek, town justice, performed the ceremony. The celebration was hosted by their children: Beth (Ken) Armstrong of Ellington, N.Y.; Kari (Tyson) Lockett of Dunkirk, N.Y.; John (Laurie) Bifaro of Silver Creek, N.Y.; and Donald Bifaro of South Dayton, N.Y. They also have 10 grandchildren. An out-of-state guest attended from Texas.
Bifaro and the former Karen G. Krall were married Nov. 29, 1986, in their home. Raymond Rogalski, town justice, performed the ceremony.
Bifaro is the former owner of Ellington Snowmobiles. Mrs. Bifaro is the town of Ellington clerk and tax collector.
