The annual Creche spring rummage sale will begin Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a bag sale on Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. From left are Kari Soffel and Betsy Shepherd, co-chairwomen of the spring sale, with some area youth. The sale will be held, as in the past, at First Congregational Church, 316 E. Fourth St., Jamestown. Sale items include quality adult and children's clothing, household items, toys, and various other offerings and donations. The Creche Inc., is a local, not-for-profit women's organization that has been serving the area for more than 110 years. It is dedicated to assisting children in need and their families throughout Chautauqua County.
