Cherry Creek Man Killed In Monday Morning Accident

CHERRY CREEK - A Cherry Creek man was killed after a two-car accident on Farrington Hollow Road in Cherry Creek at 7:15 a.m. Monday.

Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies report George A. Bowser Sr., 71, of 366 Hunt Road, Cherry Creek, was driving south on Farrington Hollow Road while Timothy M. Dolling, 23, of 6654 Main St., Cherry Creek, was driving north on Farrington Hollow Road when Dolling's vehicle crossed into the southbound lane of traffic. Bowser's vehicle hit the driver's side of Dolling's vehicle, causing Dolling's vehicle to flip over and land on top of Bowser's vehicle.

Bowser was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Warren Riles. Dolling was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital.

The investigation into this incident is continuing.
