David C. and Anita Willsie Kerr of Raleigh, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jeannette C., to Brian R. Thomas, the son of Malinda L. Thomas of Seattle, Wash., and the late Kenneth R. Thomas. Miss Kerr is also the grandaughter of the late Robert L. and Bertha S. Willsie.
Miss Kerr is pursuing a degree in 3-D animation at Cogswell Polytechnic College in Sunnyvale, Calif. Her fiance is employed as a software engineer by Google in Mountainview, Calif.
A May 13, 2012, wedding is planned at the Hakone Gardens in Saratoga, Calif.
