Church To Hold Dinner Saturday

FALCONER - Bethlehem Lutheran Church, located at the corner of Falconer and Phetteplace streets in Falconer, will host a spaghetti dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday to help the church's youth campership fund. Take-out orders will be available. The church is handicap accessible.

Thule Lodge To Meet Saturday

BEMUS POINT - The Thule Lodge, 4123 Pancake Hill Road, Bemus Point, will hold its monthly meeting at 2 p.m. Saturday. The lodge will be open by 1 p.m. Following the meeting, the annual Swedish spring food festival known as "egg sexa," meaning foods made with eggs, will be served. Members of the lodge are encouraged to attend. Thule Lodge serves to preserve the Swedish heritage through events and activities. New members are welcome.

Tea Party To Host Goodell

LAKEWOOD - State Assemblyman Andy Goodell, R-Chautauqua County, will speak to members of the Southern Tier Tea Party Patriots at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lakewood American Legion, 174 Chautauqua Ave., Lakewood. Goodell will address Medicaid reform, redistricting, the state's 2 percent tax cap, state sovereignty, federal health care and the 10th Amendment. The public is invited to attend.

Chicken Dinner Set For Saturday

CHERRY CREEK - The Cherry Creek/Leon United Methodist Church on Main Street in Cherry Creek will sponsor a chicken and biscuit dinner starting at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The cost is an $8 donation for adults and a $6 donation for children. Family prices are available. Dinner includes homemade dessert and beverage.

Salamanca Board To Meet

SALAMANCA - The Salamanca City School District Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The public is welcome to attend.

Falconer Juniors To Hold Dinner

FALCONER - The Falconer Central School junior class will hold a chicken barbecue at the Falconer Moose Club on Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. to support the Junior/Senior Prom. Walk-ins are welcome.

Annual Cleanup

Set For Saturday

SINCLAIRVILLE - The Sinclairville Evergreen Cemetery's annual cleanup will begin Saturday. All winter decorations will be removed then. The cleanup will continue on May 12. Volunteers are appreciated.

Busti Supervisor To Host Public

BUSTI - Jesse Robbins, Busti town supervisor, will meet with the public from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Busti office building, 121 Chautauqua Ave., Lakewood. Robbins said town residents are welcome to attend to discuss topics related to Busti. Coffee and doughnuts will be served.

Volunteers To Hold Fundraiser

FALCONER - The Falconer Volunteer Fire Department will be holding an open house and first annual boot drive fundraiser on Saturday. The boot drive will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the four corners of Falconer. Also, from 1 to 5 p.m., the fire department will be holding an open house at the fire hall, 115 Davis St., Falconer.
