ELLINGTON - The Ellington Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary will kick off its 50th season of selling chicken barbecues today. Dinners are $8 for adults and $4 for children or chicken only and will be available starting at noon at the fire hall on West Main Street in Ellington until sold out.
