Carroll Senior Citizens To Have Meeting April 16

Carroll Senior Citizens will meet at noon Monday, April 16, in the Frewsburg American Legion, Carroll Street, Frewsburg, for their annual Easter ham dinner. The cost is $5 for members; $7, non-members. Reservations are required and must be made by Tuesday; contact Mary Himes at 569-6110.

Twenty-six members and one guest attended a recent soup and sandwich lunch meeting, provided by Sally's Deli in Frewsburg. Bob Lewis, vice president, opened the meeting with a flag salute. Reports by the secretary and treasurer were accepted as read.

Senior Council representatives spoke on the May 10 trivia bowl and the annual dinner dance. Members were encouraged to support the Senior Council and attend meetings which are held the second Thursday of each month.

Members were reminded that food pantry items will be accepted at each meeting. A box to collect unused coupons for families of troops will also be available.

Lou Karasek celebrated his birthday.

Tim Stockman (''Timmie the Tuneman'') provided musical entertainment.

The meeting closed with prayer.
