RIPLEY - Forestville scored five runs in the fourth inning and cruised to a 10-2 win over host Ripley (0-1, 0-1) in a non-league softball game on Monday.
For the Lady Hornets, who had nine hits in total, Precious Kaczor had two hits and a pair of RBIs. Bailey Gloss had a single and a double with an RBI, Bayleigh Raynor contributed two hits with an RBI and Cherish Pope added an RBI.
Earning the win for the Lady Hornets was Ryanne Dugan, who struck out 14 with one walk over seven innings of work.

Emily Krause took the loss for the Lady Eagles, striking out seven with one walk while going the distance. She was also Ripley's top hitter with two singles.
C-LV RALLIES TO WIN
GOWANDA - The Cattaraugus-Little Valley Lady Timberwolves scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning to rally past Gowanda, 10-9.
Emily Fuller provided the two-run single for the visitors for the come-from-behind victory.
Cattaraugus-Little Valley held an 8-4 lead heading into the sixth inning. However, the Lady Panthers received a two-run homer from Lexi Farner to highlight a five-run frame to take a 9-8 advantage. The home team also received RBI hits from Brianne John, Tia Thompson and Skylar Ondus in the sixth inning.
Ondus finished with three hits.
