Budget Topic Of Meeting Today

CATTARAUGUS - The Cattaraugus-Little Valley Central School Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. today in the Cattaraugus Campus primary cafeteria to discuss the 2012-13 budget. The public is welcome to attend.

Meet The Director Begins Friday

Linda Mielke, James Prendergast Library librarian, will present three Meet the Library Director forums at the Prendergast Library from 7 to 8 p.m. this Friday, Friday April 13, and Friday April 20. Topics will be book selection, electronic books and library funding, respectively. The library is located at 509 Cherry St., Jamestown. For more information, call 484-7135.

Easter Cantata To Be Held

ELLINGTON - The Baptist Church of Ellington, 530 Route 62 North, will present the Easter cantata ''Because He Lives'' at 4 p.m. Saturday. A free dinner and a children's Easter egg hunt will follow. The public is invited to attend. For more information, contact Don Moore, pastor, at 673-6543.

Easter Kid Fest Begins Saturday

CHERRY CREEK - The Cherry Creek/Leon United Methodist Church on Main Street in Cherry Creek will have its annual Easter Kid Fest from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. There will be crafts, an egg hunt, J.J. Jingles the Clown with face painting and balloon art and refreshments. The public is welcome to attend.

Choir To Perform Cantata Sunday

The Pine Valley Community Choir will present its Easter cantata, "A Walk to Remember," at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Forestville Baptist Church and 7:30 p.m. at the Gowanda Free Methodist Church. The public is welcome to attend.

Fire Department Sets Egg Hunt

MAYVILLE - The Mayville Fire Department will sponsoring an Easter egg hunt beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 1, in Lakeside Park with three age divisions, 4 and under, 5 to 8, and 8 to 12. Prizes, refreshments and a visit with the Easter Bunny will be provided.

Clerks Office To Close April 4-6

ELLINGTON - The Ellington Town Clerk's office will be closed while the clerk is out of the office April 4-6. She will be back in the office on Monday, April 9.
