Amy Schneggenburger has been promoted to the position of retail area manager for Five Star Bank.
In her new role she will be responsible for overseeing the business development efforts of several branches throughout the Five Star Bank marketplace. Ms. Schneggenburger currently manages the retail bank branch in Olean and will now oversee additional retail bank branches in the southwest market area, including branches in Yorkshire, Salamanca, Allegany, Cuba, Lakewood and Ellicottville.
She joined Five Star Bank in April 2000 as an assistant branch manager at the former Allegany First Tier Bank and Trust location. Throughout her tenure with Five Star Bank, she has served as a small business lender, mortgage originator and branch manager. Previously, Ms. Schneggenburger served as an assistant branch manager for Jamestown Savings Bank in Lakewood.

Active in her community, Ms. Schneggenburger serves on the board of directors for the Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce and volunteers with the United Way of Cattaraugus County and the Southern Tier Child Advocacy Center. She studied retail and commercial banking with the American Bankers Association.
