I think your story on the Lilian Dickson Park is something that shows a problem that no one cares to help fix.
The community can't help because until the owners of all the rental properties have to take some responsibility for who they rent to, there can be no all action to help this area.
If the owners had to live in the houses they own, then it would weed out the crime in this area. Instead they just buy up all these properties and as long as they are paid, they don't care who lives there. I see it with my own eyes every day in this area.
