Cynthia Pielmeier of Kiantone, N.Y., announces the engagement of her son, Adam P. Pielmeier, to Carla M. Sherred, the daughter of Beth Ann Sherred and Ronald Sherred both of Pittsburgh, Pa. Pielmeier is also the son of the late Phillip Pielmeier.
Miss Sherred is a 1999 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, Jefferson Hills, Pa., and a 2003 graduate of West Virginia University. She is employed by Myrtle Beach Manor in South Carolina as a marketing director. Her fiance is a 1997 graduate of Jamestown High School and a 2003 graduate of Horry Georgetown Tech in South Carolina. He is owner/operator of Insight Designs, specializing in architectural and structural design.
A June 2012 wedding is planned in Pittsburgh, Pa.
