The Post-Journal

The Westfield Senior Day Program of the Chautauqua Adult Day Care Centers Inc. recently traveled to Meeder's Restaurant in Ripley for lunch.

The participants of the Westfield Senior Day Program are very active in the community and go out to lunch at least twice a month. They participate in the Senior Restaurant Dining Out program through the Chautauqua County Office for the Aging. Meeder's is one of their favorite places to eat, and many participants finish their meals with a piece of pie. All who participated had a wonderful time sharing stories, making memories and eating.

Chautauqua Adult Day Care Centers Inc., a not-for-profit United Way agency, offers senior day programs for adults 60 years of age and older who live in the community. The agency has four sites that serve all of Chautauqua County. The programs provide socialization and offer many opportunities for older adults to participate in activities during the day in a caring friendly atmosphere with supportive staff and companionship.
