I agree with Linda DiDomizio that bowhunters should be allowed to eliminate some of the deer in the area.
I live in Celoron with a wooded area behind my house. I have as many as 10 deer in my yard. Last fall they ate every bud off my 36 rose bushes and all of t he small tomatoes off of my tomato plants.
Every winter I cover all of my plants and shrubbery with netting to protect them. I came home recently, in the late afternoon, and found the deer had pawed the netting off of the low growing shrubbery/ground cover and were eating that!
The deer should be eliminated in my opinion.
