Food Truck Arrives Tuesday

ASHVILLE - WNY Food Express Truck will be at the Ashville Food Pantry from noon to 1:30 p.m., and from 3:30 to 5 p.m., Tuesday. The truck has many different items on each month. There could be fresh produce, bread, milk, fresh bakery products, pop and other items, mostly fruit and vegetables. Items are free to who ever comes to the food express as long as they live in zip codes serviced. The following zip codes will be honored that day: 14710 Ashville, 14750 Lakewood, 14712 Bemus Point, 14720 Celoron, 14758 Niobe, 14767 Panama, 14785 Stow. The food pantry is located in the Ashville United Methodist Church by the blinker light on Route 474.

History Group To Meet Wednesday

RANDOLPH - The Randolph Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Community Room of the Randolph Municipal Building, 72 Main St. in Randolph. The guest speakers will be Sue and Mike Bean. The duo will present an interesting program on the alpaca business. The couple will talk about how they got started in alpaca farming and what is involved in running an alpaca business. Those that attend can run their hand through the soft-sheared fleece and watch how it is spun into yarn for warm cozy items. There will be homemade, as well as other products available following the program. Sue and Mike own and operate A Slice of Heaven Alpaca Farm and Simply Natural Alpaca Gift Shop on Pope Road.

Pancake Brunch Set For Sunday

SOUTH DAYTON - There will be a pancake brunch from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Villenova Grange, Balcoms Corners (routes 83 and 322), South Dayton. The event is a food pantry benefit, so those attending should bring a donation to receive the meal for half price. Valentine packages and cards created by second-graders at Forestville School were recently delivered in the area. The Pomona Grange will meet March 10 at Ripley. Contest items and committees 11 a.m., noon lunch, 1 p.m. business. Regional Degree Day will be May 19. New and current members welcome.

Panama BOE Slates Meeting

PANAMA - The Panama Central School Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the board room. The public is welcome to attend.

Sister Chapter Night Planned

FORESTVILLE - Forestville Chapter 247 Order of the Eastern Star will host Sister Chapter Night at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Anyone attending is asked to bring a pound in a bag or a prize in a purse for auction after the meeting. From noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 11, the chapter will hold a public spaghetti dinner. Presale tickets are available. For more information, call 785-2520.

St. Patrick's Day Storytime Set

BUSTI - The Hazeltine Public Library will hold a special St. Patrick's Day storytime for children in first grade and younger from 11 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 17 at the library. Call the library to register at 716-487-1281. The library is located at 891 Busti-Sugar Grove Road in Busti.
