Donald R. and Lorraine R. Broadhead of Jamestown, N.Y., formerly of Port Jefferson Station, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Joy Alexis, to Michael Joseph Russo, the son of Salvatore P. Russo and Susan M. Russo of Sinclairville, N.Y.
Miss Broadhead is a graduate of Adelphi University's Honors College with a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design and Buffalo State College with a degree in art education. She is employed by Cassadaga Valley Middle/High School as an art teacher. Her fiance is a graduate of Jamestown Community College and is employed by Cummins Engines Plant as a global materials pipeline manager.
A Sept. 1, 2012, wedding is planned.
