Valvo — Vanstrom

Sandra Vanstrom and Samuel Valvo exchanged wedding vows on Nov. 26, 2011, at Clarks Corner Community Church. Pastor Walt Venman performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Richard Allnatt.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Carolyn Vanstrom of Kennedy, N.Y., and the granddaughter of Jan Lundmark of Frewsburg, N.Y. Her husband is the son of Anthony and Barbara Valvo of Lakewood, N.Y.

The bride wore an ivory strapless pickup-style ball gown with sweetheart bodice with beaded lace detail.

Jeanette Vanstrom, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Melody Overend was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa Gerber, Megan Turck, Tarrin Simpson, Samantha Vanstrom and Megan Pratt.

Best man was Kevin Darling. Ushers were Eric Vanstrom, Tim Vanstrom, Joe Scholeno, Andrew Matteson and Thomas Gerber. Ring bearer was Levi Overend.

The bride is a graduate of Falconer Central High School, earned a Bachelor of Art in unified education from Keuka College and her master's degree in math and literacy from Walden University. She is employed by Pine Valley Elementary School. Her husband is a graduate of Southwestern Central High School and Jamestown Community College. He is employed by SKF in Falconer.

They honeymooned in Treasure Island, Fla.

They are living in Conewango Valley, N.Y.
