CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

ELLERY - Tyler L. Skillman-Drake, 18, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree burglary Monday at 6 p.m. Deputies investigated a burglary that occurred at Townline Auto on Fluvanna Townline Road in Ellery early Jan. 30. According to police, Skillman-Drake was identified and a warrant was issued. He turned himself in to Ellery Town Court and was arraigned. He was then taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.

PORTLAND - Michelle M. Logan, 44, of Westfield was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and failure to keep right Tuesday at 1:15 a.m. According to police, Logan was driving north on Thayer Road in Portland when she lost control of her vehicle, hitting a tree. Police say she was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. She was issued appearance tickets to be in Portland Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN - Cassandra Pike, 29, of 627 Fairmount Ave., Jamestown, was charged with misuse of food stamps and fraudulent receipt of benefits Monday at 3:20 p.m. According to police, Pike failed to notify the Chautauqua County Department of Social Services that she was employed, receiving $550 in food-stamp benefits to which she was not entitled. She was issued an appearance ticket to be in Jamestown City Court later.

JAMESTOWN - Ripel Patel, 26, and Joseph Balestrieri, 36, both of 12593 Alleghany Road, lot 30, Silver Creek, were charged on Tuesday at 8:40 a.m. following an investigation by the sheriff's office. Patel was charged with misuse of food stamps and Balestrieri was charged with first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps. According to police, both failed to report to the Chautauqua County Department of Social Services that Patel was employed and receiving income, therefore receiving $1,488 in food stamp benefits to which they were not entitled. Both were issued appearance tickets to Jamestown City Court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

ELLICOTT - Robert P. Bargy, 47, of Falconer was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, DWI and DWI per se Monday at 7:15 p.m. on Route 380 in Ellicott. He was released on cash bail.

POMFRET - Brittany A. White, 22, of Fredonia was charged with DWI and DWI per se Tuesday at 1:44 a.m. at the intersection of routes 60 and 20 in Pomfret. Wayne Finley, 27, of Fredonia was also charged with having a prescription drug outside original container during the incident. Troopers pulled over the vehicle for having no plate lamps. According to police, White was found to be driving and intoxicated. She was taken into custody and taken to the Fredonia barracks where a breath test showed her blood alcohol content to be .13 percent. Finely, a passenger in the vehicle, was found to be in possession of a 600 mg tablet of ibuprofen. Both were issued tickets for Pomfret Town Court later.

CATTARAUGUS INDIAN TERRITORY - Joly A. Marx, 50, of Brant was charged with third-degree assault Monday at 10:30 a.m. on Brant Reservation Road in the Cattaraugus Indian Territory. She was issued an appearance ticket.
