LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

Eugene T. Eaton, 55, of South Maple Avenue in Ashville, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and following too closely Friday. Shortly after 8 p.m., Lakewood-Busti Police responded to a property-damage automobile accident on East Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood. According to police, Eaton was one of the drivers involved and was found to be intoxicated. Eaton had a prior conviction for driving while intoxicated within the past 10 years, police said, making the current charge a felony. Eaton was taken into custody and later released. He will appear in Town of Busti Court later.

Mary L. Butler, 53, of Gerry, was charged with petit larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property at 7:20 p.m. Friday at the Dollar General in Lakewood. Butler allegedly took merchandise from the Dollar General for which she did not pay and left the area. Butler's vehicle was allegedly located nearby with the merchandise inside. Butler was arraigned in the Town of Busti Court and released to probation. She is due back in court later.

Edward T. Kurtz Jr., 45, of 17 E. 15th St. Apt. 17 in Jamestown, was charged with second degree aggravated harassment at 11 a.m. Monday following an alleged incident Monday, Jan. 30. Allegedly, Kurtz made phone calls and text message threats to a Lakewood resident. Kurtz is due in court later.

Jennifer A. Taylor, 24, of 15 W. Cowden Place, Jamestown, was charged with failure to appear and to pay a fine, criminal contempt in the second degree, and petit larceny Friday at 10:30 a.m. at her residence. She was arraigned and sent to Chautauqua County Jail, where bail was set at $1,000. She will appear in Town of Busti Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE

Michael A. Weathers, 43, of Jamestown, was charged with failure to keep right and misdemeanor driving while intoxicated Monday morning at 12:39. Police observed the vehicle failing to keep right on Harrison Street, Barrett Avenue and Baker Street. The vehicle was stopped on McKinley Avenue near Colfax Street. Police observed Weathers operating the vehicle and found him to be intoxicated. He refused to cooperate with a chemical test. Police transported Weathers to city jail pending arraignment.

Caz G. Stepp, 39, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree menacing at approximately 4 a.m. Saturday. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with a female victim who advised officers she was involved in a domestic incident with Stepp, police said. The victim told police that Stepp was intoxicated, and grabbed a knife and threatened her with it. The victim fled the residence and called 911. Officers found Stepp and took him into custody without incident, transporting him to city jail. Stepp is currently being held without bail and awaits arraignment in city court.

Emily E. Boskat, 21, of Jamestown, was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and harassment at 1:20 a.m. Sunday. Police responded to 326 Cherry St. after receiving a report of an alleged fight at the residence. Upon arrival, officers allegedly observed Boskat to be disorderly and shouting obscenities. When officers attempted to take Boskat into custody, she allegedly resisted, attempting to pull away from officers. She was taken into custody and transported to city jail. Upon arrival at the jail, Boskat allegedly kicked one of the officers in the leg. She was arraigned and released.

ELLICOTT POLICE

Melody L. Peterson, 55, of 536 Prospect St., Jamestown, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child after police learned she was allegedly in an intoxicated state and passed out while her 4-year-old grandson was left unwatched Friday at the Fountain Bowl on Fluvanna Avenue. Police responded to the bowling alley after receiving a report of an unresponsive intoxicated female. Peterson was transported to WCA Hospital for an evaluation, police said, and the child was turned over to his father. Peterson was issued an appearance ticket to Ellicott court.

John R. Higbie, 41, of 5386 Route 60, Sinclairville, was charge with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, failure to maintain lane and open container Friday on Interstate 86. Officers allegedly followed Higbie's vehicle and observed it cross over the solid white line. After an investigation, police took Higbie into custody. He was later released with an appearance ticket to Ellicott court.

Ulus C. Battle, 25, of Buffalo, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Saturday. Police responded to a town of Ellicott business after receiving a report of a suspicious odor. Upon investigation, police took Battle into custody. Battle was issued an appearance ticket to town of Ellicott court.

DUNKIRK POLICE

Odessey S. Finley, 24, of 774 Central Ave., Dunkirk, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, resisting arrest and second-degree harassment Friday. Police arrived at Finley's residence with a warrant alleging she had sold quantities of crack cocaine to agents of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. Finley allegedly fought with officers attempting to take her into custody and was held overnight at the City of Dunkirk Jail, where bail was set at $50,000.

Najee T. Finley, 17, of 93 Lincoln Ave., Dunkirk, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance Saturday. Police had obtained a warrant based on information alleging that Finley had sold quantities of crack cocaine to agents of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. Finley was arraigned and subsequently remanded to Chautauqua County Jail pending bail and further action from the court.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S

EAST OTTO - Daniel D. Woodring, 33, of Springville, was charged with violation of probation at 9 p.m. Thursday. Woodring was jailed pending arraignment in Cattaraugus County Court at a later date.

OTTO - Jonathan R. Huchingson, 25, of Cattaraugus, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal tampering, second-degree strangulation and third-degree assault Thursday at 10 p.m. after an alleged domestic dispute with his girlfriend earlier in the day. He was taken to Town of Otto Court for arraignment and remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail pending arraignment.

RANDOLPH - Kevin C. Callahan, 22, of Randolph, was charged with violation of probation at 8 p.m. Thursday. He was arraigned in the Village of Ellicottville Court and sent to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.

An 18-year-old Randolph male was charged with violation of probation Jan. 31. The subject was arraigned in the City of Olean Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bail.

OLEAN - Tracy A. Holley Jr., 24, of Olean, was charged with second degree harassment Jan. 30 following an alleged incident in the town of Allegany. Holley was taken to Allegany Town Court for arraignment, where he was released on his own recognizance. Holley is scheduled to appear in front of the court later.

SALAMANCA - Thomas J. Tupper, 36, of Salamanca, was charged with fourth degree criminal mischief and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation Jan. 31 at 11 p.m. The charges stemmed from an alleged domestic incident between Tupper and his wife. Tupper is due back in court later.

CONEWANGO - Michael A. Doubek, 38, of Conewango, was charged with violation of probation at his residence at 8 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to Cattaraugus County Jail and held without bail. He is due back in court later.

FARMERSVILLE - Phillip S. Muzzy Jr., of 9207 Route 98, Farmersville, was charged with failure to appear on Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. Muzzy was turned over to Hamburg police and will appear in Hamburg court later.

NAPOLI - Victor Spinler, 27, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 242 in Napoli at 1:31 a.m. Saturday. Allegedly, Spinler was driving a vehicle without a license.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S

MAYVILLE - Cody A Winne, 24, of Mayville, was charged with second-degree harassment at 3 a.m. Saturday. Deputies investigated an alleged report of physical harassment against a Mayville resident. Following the investigation, deputies took Winne into custody. He was arraigned in the Town of Chautauqua Court and sent to the county jail on $500 cash bail or $1,000 property bond.

HANOVER - Klarisa J. Foster, 21, of Hanover, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Deputies and Silver Creek police responded to an alleged disturbance at Sunberry Mobile Home Park on Alleghany Road in Hanover. Upon arrival, it was allegedly discovered that Foster had broken windows in a residence after getting into an argument. Foster was taken into custody and arraigned in the Town of Hanover Court, where she was remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.
