Church To Hold Series Of Classes

WESTFIELD - The Lakeshore Assembly of God Church Christian education department, 252 E. Main St., Westfield, will sponsor two classes for girls and women. The ''tweener'' class, titled "God's Royal Princesses, Helping Our Girls Reach Their Full Potential" for girls ages 8 to 12, will be from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning Feb. 8. A womens' class, based on the Sheila Walsh study ''The Shelter of God's Promises'' will be from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Wednesdays beginning Feb. 14. JHS?Band To Hold Fundraiser Event

Bob Evans Restaurant on North Main Street, Jamestown, will hold a fundraiser for the Jamestown High School Red Raider Marching Band from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday. Anyone attending must present a flyer found on the Jamestown Public Schools' website at www.jamestownpublicschools.org under "Announcements," and a story about the fundraiser. With the flyer, Bob Evans will donate 15 percent of the sales to marching band. Proceeds will help pay for the band's trip on Feb. 15 to march in the Disney World's Main Street Electrical Parade. The band is also holding a can and bottle drive with proceeds helping to provide meals during the trip. Donations may be brought to the Southside Redemption Center at 1752 Foote Ave., Jamestown.

Celoron To Collect Taxes Saturday

ELLICOTT - The annual tax collection day in Celoron will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Celoron Village Hall. Town Clerk Michael Erlandson will be available to collect town and county taxes.

Village Collecting Survey Data

SINCLAIRVILLE - As a follow up to the income survey that was sent out to village of Sinclairville residents the last week in December, village employees will be going door to door to ask residents to complete the survey and return it in the self-address stamped envelope which was provided with the survey. If you no longer have the survey form, another will be provided for you. This survey is very important to help the village secure grants and funding for much needed improvements to the water system.
