To the Readers' Forum:
Several months ago, with careful planning, Darlene and Tim Wendell opened ''The Sweet Spot'' in Mayville. Their plan was to offer homemade lunches and desserts, with a special loving twist. The servers earn minimum wage and accept no tips, although a ''Tip Jar'' does exist at the ordering counter. Contradiction? Absolutely not! All donations collected within the ''jar'' go to assisting needy causes within the community that tug on the owners' heartstrings. The Mayville Food Pantry is one of several recipients from these community-minded owners.
Another reason to be proud residents of Chautauqua County.
