Thrift Store Holding Sale

The Victory Tabernacle Thrift Store, 205 Cherry St., Jamestown will be open beginning this week through Jan. 30 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Saturday. All Christmas items and coats are 50 percent off. A bag sale is $3 for a large bag. Donations are needed, especially household items; no beds. The thrift store is a nonprofit organization operated by the Victory Tabernacle Church. For information, contact the pastor at 358-2127 or 489-6573.

Winter Coats Available For $1

Winter coats will be on sale for $1 each through the end of January at the St. James Thrift Store, 141 Institute St., Jamestown. Other clothing will still be available at the regular price of $2 a bag. There is also a supply of ladies extra-large sizes and a large assortment of men's jackets, trousers, shirts and T-shirts. Infant and young children's clothing is always needed. Donations are accepted during regular store hours, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Wednesday and Friday.

Antique Auto Club To Meet

The Chautauqua Lake Region Antique Automobile Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, in the Fluvanna War Vets Recreation Club. Guests are welcome to attend. The club is open to anyone interested in antique and classic automobiles. For more information, call Al Oag at 483-6287.

Library Board To Gather Thursday

The Prendergast Library Association board of trustees will meet at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, in the Fireplace Room of Prendergast Library at 509 Cherry St., Jamestown. The meeting will begin with changes or additions to the agenda, approval of minutes of the previous meeting, and approval of bills. Also scheduled are the treasurer's report, director's report including correspondence and public comment, unfinished business and new business.

Sinclairville To Hold Meeting

SINCLAIRVILLE - The Sinclairville Village Board will have a regular meeting at 7 p.m., Thursday, at in the village office, 8 Lester St., Sinclairville. All interested persons are encouraged to attend.
