GERRY - LuAnn M. Maring, 55, of Gerry, passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at WCA Hospital, Jamestown.
She was born May 17, 1956, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Lewis and Genevieve Rogers Maring. A Chautauqua County resident all of her life, she was a 1975 gradu-ate of Cassadaga Valley Central School.
She was previously employed at Plastic Case in Frewsburg and then at Truck Lite of Falconer until her illness.
LuAnn was a member of the Gerry United Methodist Church.
She will be remembered as an easy-going person who loved the great outdoors and animals.
She was the sister of Kenneth Maring of Jamestown, Arlene Hamilton of Frewsburg and Irene Maring of Gerry; aunt of Raymond Maring, Sheri Hamilton both of Jamestown and the late Daniel Hamilton; and great-aunt of Alexander Mundt of Jamestown.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Stockton.
