Southwestern Elementary Teachers Care And Share

December 11, 2011
The Post-Journal

The Southwestern Teachers' Association volunteered their time on Tuesday, Nov. 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. to ring bells at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club for the Salvation Army's annual holiday Red Kettle Campaign. The Salvation Army touches thousands of lives in Jamestown and Chautauqua County. Public contributions to Salvation Army kettles enable the organization to continue its year-round efforts to help those who would otherwise be forgotten.

Through the joy of caring and sharing, donations provide Christmas dinners, clothing, and toys for families in need, as well as seniors and the homeless. The STA is proud to support the Salvation Army's efforts to make a positive difference in the community.
