The board of directors of Affinity One FCU is excited to announce the promotion of Melinda J. Best to CEO. Ms. Best will report directly to the credit union's board of directors.
Ms. Best brings to her new position more than 25 years' experience in the financial services industry, 14 of those years with Affinity One FCU. At Affinity One FCU, she has held positions of loan officer, director of lending, and most recently, chief operating officer. Prior to her joining the credit union, Ms. Best held various lending positions at Chase Manhattan Bank.
Ms. Best will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations. She will develop and implement long term strategic plans and the annual operating plan for the credit union. She will ensure profitable growth, maintain all regulatory compliance and continue the spirit of strong community involvement and commitment to service.
