Dr. Janell E. Lundgren, a Jamestown native, has passed her initial certification for psychiatry.
Dr. Lundgren works part-time in Jamestown, seeing patients one week a month with Family Health Medical Services on Prather Avenue. She is a 2002 graduate of the State University at Buffalo's School of Medicine, a 2007 graduate of the University of Cincinnati combined Family Medicine/Psychiatry Residency and a 2009 graduate of the University of Rochester with additional training as a fellow in forensic psychiatry.
In becoming board certified, Dr. Lundgren has completed her training and achieved the gold standard in each of the six core competencies of patient care, medical knowledge, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, systems-based practice and practice-based learning and improvement to practice quality specialized medicine in psychiatry.
