Amy Melissa Pitts and Sgt. 1st Class Christopher L. Hartzell exchanged wedding vows on May 21, 2011, at St. Patrick Church in Randolph, N.Y. The Rev. Joseph P. Janaczek performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Sue Smith.
The bride is the daughter of Donald and Barbara Pitts of Randolph, N.Y. Her husband is the son of Patrick and Marcie Hartzell of Jamestown, N.Y.
Ryan Hasper was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Beth Williams, Renee Reding and Briana Connor. Flower girl was Abigail Pitts, niece of the bride.

Best man was Andrew Szteiter. Groomsmen were Patrick Hartzell Jr. and Cory Hartzell, brothers of the groom, and Matthew Seiberg. The ring bearer was Bryson Pitts, nephew of the bride.
Master and mistresses of ceremonies were Brian and Gayle Pitts, brother and sister-in-law of the bride.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Randolph High School. Her husband is a 2003 graduate of Jamestown High School and is serving in the U.S. Army.
They honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise.
They are living in Fayetteville, N.C.
