Philip and Laurie Bens of Gerry, N.Y., announce the engagement of their son, Eric, to Jessica Henry of Moravia, N.Y. Bens is also the grandson of Roger and Marjorie Cobb of Jamestown, N.Y.; Robert Bens of Greensboro, N.C.; and the late Marilyn Stafford.
Miss Henry is a 2006 graduate of Moravia High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science in social work from the State University at Fredonia, and a Master of Social Work from the University at Albany. She is employed by Absolut Care as director of social services in Westfield, N.Y. Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of Cassadaga Valley High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts from the State University at Fredonia, and a Master of Arts from Western Carolina University. He is employed by TitanX Engine Cooling of Jamestown, N.Y., as a human resources specialist.
An August 25, 2012, wedding is planned at the Gerry United Methodist Church in Gerry, N.Y.
