Vern C. Shirey Jr. and Roxanne Shirey, both of Jamestown, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jade M., to Jarrett A. Kingsbury, the son of Jeff Kingsbury of Jamestown, N.Y., and Jill Shelters of Kennedy, N.Y. Miss Shirey is also the granddaughter of Annabell Shirey of Lakewood, N.Y., Vern Shirey Sr. of Ashville, N.Y.; and Roaxanne and Louis Raggi of Rochester, N.Y. Her fiance is the grandson of Caroline Kingsbury of Randolph, N.Y.; and Evey and Bud Harrison of Cattaragus, N.Y.
Miss Shirey attended Jamestown Community College. Her fiance is employed by Rapid Removal.
A Sept. 3, 2013, wedding is planned.
