Daniel and Barbara Swackhammer of Jamestown, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle L., to David K. Mandery, the son of Janet G. Mandery of Rochester, N.Y., and the late Kenneth M. Mandery.
Miss Swackhammer is a 2005 graduate of Jamestown High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in education from the State University at Fredonia, where she is pursuing her master's degree in education. She is employed as a substitute teacher in Chautauqua County. Her fiance is a graduate of the State University at Fredonia with a Bachelor of Science in computer information sciences, and earned his Master of Science in information systems management from the University of Rochester, Simon School. He is employed by the University of Rochester as an applications analyst.
A June 2, 2012, wedding is planned in Ellington, N.Y.
