Jerry and Julieanne Stanton of Jamestown, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Roselyn, to J. Bryce Ireland, the son of Jeffrey and Brenda Ireland of Panama, N.Y. Miss Stanton is also the granddaugher of Kathryn Crossley of Jamestown, N.Y., and the late Howard Crossley; Ray and Joan Stanton of Lakewood, N.Y.; and Lawrence Smith Jr. of Bradford, Pa., and the late Joyce Smith. Her fiance is the grandson of Joe and Audrey Jean Edwards of Panama, N.Y., and Margaret Ireland of Panama, N.Y., and the late Jarvis Ireland
Miss Stanton attended Maple Grove Junior-Senior High School and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2009 from Gannon University, where she is pursuing a master's degree in nurse practitioning. She is employed at UPMC/Hamot Medical Center as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit. Her fiance attended Panama Central School and graduated from Houghton College in 2010 with a degree in business administration. He is employed by Alliance Advisory Group Inc. as a financial specialist.
A June 23, 2012, wedding is planned in Bemus Point, N.Y.
