ASHVILLE - Jenny Russell, a 13-year-old golden retriever who lives in Ashville, appears as Miss April in the 2012 calendar published by Golden Retriever Rescue Operated with Love Statewide.
Barbara and Mike Russell, Jenny's owners and GRROWLS foster home volunteers, are thrilled that Jenny made it into the calendar. Jenny was adopted a year ago and now lives with the Russells along with her golden brother, Bailey.
GRROWLS calendars are $10 each and can be purchased at the Pet Animal Hospital, 9 Glidden Ave., West Ellicott; Moonbrook Veterinary Hospital, 3201 N. Main St. Extension, Jamestown; Groomingdales, 120 Chautauqua Ave., Lakewood; and the Blue Fin, 17 W. Main St., Falconer.
