HEALTHeLINK received a $16.1 million "Beacon Award" from US Dept of Health and Human Services in May 2010, not from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. The Beacon Project was created to help communities use health information technology to forge cooperation and use resources effectively toward local priority health goals.
