JCC To Offer Special-Credit History, Culture Courses

History and culture are examined in several contexts in special-credit courses offered this fall at Jamestown Community College's Jamestown Campus.

Anthropology courses, including Sex, Sexuality, and Gender, American Culture Studies, and Introduction to Forensic Anthropology, explore various issues and critical concepts.

Introduction to the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament and Introductory Arabic provide a foundation for the study of history, culture, and language.

Native American History, The History of Christianity, U.S. History: Up Close and Personal, and American History Through Food provide various cultural and historical explorations.

Fall semester classes begin Monday. To register, or obtain additional course information, call the JCC registrar's office, 338-1018.
