Music In The Park Set
SOUTH DAYTON - Music in the Park from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the South Dayton Village Park Gazebo will be by Oliverio. The summer music program is sponsored by the town of Dayton, town of Villenova, village of South Dayton and New York State Council of the Arts Decentralization Regrant Program administered by the Cattaraugus Arts Council.
Story Hour Set For Friday
BROCTON - The Ahira Hall Memorial Library will host a young children's story hour, with Mary Ellen Westin and Susan Raymond, at 11 a.m. Friday. Children, preschool through second grade are welcome to attend. For more information, call 792-9418.
Library To Play Monthly Movie
Myers Memorial Library will show its free monthly movie at 3 and 6 p.m. today in the library's community room. This month's Disney movie is rated PG and is sponsored by Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union. For more information, call 569-5515. Library hours are Monday and Wednesday from 1 to 8 p.m.; Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 2 to 5 p.m.
Dice Run To Be Held Saturday
A motorcycle dice run, 2011 Ride for Life, is scheduled for Saturday, rain or shine. Hosted by Relay for Life, TEAM JEAN, all money raised will go directly to the American Cancer Society. Those wishing to attend should meet at The Pad (formerly the Lily Pad), 1064 Route 394, Kennedy. Registration is from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. with a fee of $15 per rider and $10 per passenger. Maps will be handed out at registration. Free food and commemorative key chains will be given to first 100 registrants. Kickstands up at 11 a.m. After a couple other stops around the lake, the run ends back at The Pad with an after-party including Chinese auction, food, D.J., rider and passenger prizes for high/low scores.
