A Warren, Pa., business owner caught more than a glimpse of a legendary comedian Aug. 4 at Lucy Fest in Jamestown.
Margaret Nystrom, owner of Modern Edge Styling Salon in Warren, was contracted to do the hair and makeup of comedian Joan Rivers during her performance at the Reg Lenna Civic Center.
Nystrom said the atmosphere at the concert was very comfortable and was exactly what she expected.

Backstage, Nystrom and Emily Anderson styled Rivers' hair and makeup, where the comedian was relaxed and talkative.
''It was very enjoyable. She's a very lovely lady,'' Nystrom said.
During the performance the stylists watched the show, where Rivers ''captured the whole audience,'' and then did some touch-up work during a break.
''The energy she portrayed was phenomenal, for being 78 years old. That was definitely amazing,'' she said.
Working behind the scenes as a certified stylist to the stars offered a glimpse to the off-stage persona of the comedian. Nystrom said she couldn't stress enough ''how lovely she is.''
Nystrom has worked with celebrities before on a permanent basis, but said she enjoys doing character work and then returning home to work in the Warren area.
''I enjoy the respect and support I get back from the community,'' she said.
After the show, Rivers asked Nystrom why she wasn't working in Hollywood and asked her back for another job.
