The Dow Jones industrial average is down 25, or 0.2 percent, to 11,458 at 11:45 a.m. in New York. It has pared its loss from the morning, when it was down more than 120.
The S&P 500 is down 4, or 0.4 percent, to 1,200. The Nasdaq is down 16, or 0.6 percent, to 2,539
