Sam and Anita Paladino of Jamestown, N.Y., announce the engagement of their son, Anthony Pasquale Marucci, to Amanda Nicole Summers, the daughter of George and Kathleen Summers of Pembroke Pines, Fla. Marucci is also the son of the late Michael Marucci.
Miss Summers earned her Bachelor of Science and MBA degrees in marketing at Florida Gulf University. She is employed by Weatherby Health Care as a licensing coordinator. Her fiance earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Buffalo State University and his Master of Arts in education adminstration at Florida Atlantic University. He is employed by Somerset Miramar Academy as curriculum coordinator.
An Oct. 8, 2011, wedding is planned.
