LAKEWOOD - Attention mothers of little princesses, there is a new spa boutique that not only provides quality entertainment, but will come to you.
The Polished Princess is the new traveling spa providing parties for girls ages 4 and older. The business performs mini-manicures and pedicures, guided facials and custom-made themed cakes and goodies.
The business is co-owned by Elizabeth Cipolla, business manager, and Renee Thayer, licensed nail technician, and our both mothers that know what parents want for a party.
Elizabeth Cipolla and Renee Thayer are the co-owners of the new business The Polished Princess, which is a traveling spa boutique for girls ages 4 and older. The traveling spa provides mini-manicures and pedicures, guided facials and custom-made themed cakes and goodies.
''What we do is we go to home and put on spa parties,'' Ms. Cipolla said. ''We provide the tables, chairs, food, entertainment, sound system and a pink dance floor."
Ms. Thayer said it is a thrill witnessing the joy on little faces after they have had their nails done and are relaxing in spa robes while receiving a mini-pedicure.
''They just get so happy and excited,'' she said. ''It is a great thing.''
Ms. Cipolla said the duo research to find the best materials and products, which are all natural, for the spa parties.
''As the mothers of young girls, we are always looking for something different and affordable to help our daughters celebrate special milestones with their friends,'' she said. ''Renee and I truly feel committed to doing everything we can to make every event memorable for the girls and carefree for the adults who are hosting it. We developed our business with a keen eye on every detail we would ideally want to see if someone were to coordinate an event for our daughters.''
Along with manicures and pedicures, The Polished Princess provides decorative bowls for the mini-pedicures that include floral gems to rest their feet on while relaxing with a ''tickled pink kiddie cocktail.'' The company also provides a menu of child-friendly hors d'oeuvres and custom-made pastries.
''There is a 'wow' factor that goes along with everything we do,'' Ms. Thayer said. ''We know the 'wow' factor for children and, at the same time, what the moms are looking for as well.''
The two mothers are very pleased starting and operating their new business to provide memories for girls who desire a unique and chic party.
''We're proud to be mom entrepreneurs,'' said Ms. Cipolla.
Parties may be booked at any desired location throughout Western New York. The business owners said they are more than willing to work with customers to provide all the necessary items for the spa party at any location.
