Larry and Sheila Brinkley of Winch Road, Lakewood, N.Y., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 20, 2011, with a dinner. The celebration was hosted by their children: Jennifer Brinkley Powell of Fabius, N.Y.; Michael Brinkley of Arlington, Texas; and John Brinkley of Stedman, N.Y. They also have five grandchildren: Nicole, Katie and Jack Brinkley, and Sofia and Carly Powell.
Brinkley and the former Sheila Martenson were married May 20, 1961, at the First Lutheran Church, Jamestown.
