Todd Tranum, president/CEO of the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce, said The Post-Journal misrepresented his statements in an article on Friday. The Chamber of Commerce was not criticizing the Cuomo administrations legislative priorities, he said. The Chamber strongly supports the tax cap and feels it has to happen now as it is the first step toward reform. He said the Chamber is advocating that additional work be done in Albany to curb spending, especially related to Medicaid and pension reform.
