LAKEWOOD - The Lakewood Family YMCA and the New York State Moose Association have announced that the third annual 3-On-3 March Madness Youth Basketball Tournament will be held at the Lakewood YMCA on March 26.
The proceeds from this tournament will help provide scholarships for children attending YMCA Summer Camp Programs.
There will be both a boys and girls tournament, which is open to all youth, in grades 3 through 12, and divisions will be grade 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 and 8, 9 and 10, and 11 and 12, with separate teams for boys and girls.
The Jamestown Moose Lodge, McDonald’s, Kwik-Fill and Cummins Engines, are major sponsors of the 3-On-3 March Madness Youth Basketball Tournament at the Lakewood YMCA. The cost of the event is $80 per team, which includes custom team T-shirts and a pretournament pizza party with first- and second-place awards for all divisions. The pizza party will be held at the Lakewood YMCA on March 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. and teams can pick up their T-shirts and schedules that night.
The entry deadline is March 15.
The Jamestown Moose Lodge is the host sponsor, along with McDonalds, Cummins Engine Company and Kwik-Fill/Red Apple, Inc.
