Sarah Burns and John Gaither exchanged wedding vows on Oct. 24, 2010, at the Pepper Plantation in Charleston, S.C. Laura Fuller, cousin of the bride, performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Pete Jock and Todd Carter, brother-in-law of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Sally Burns of Jamestown, N.Y., and the granddaughter of Jane Burns of Perrysburg, N.Y., and currently a resident of Lutheran Social Services in Jamestown, N.Y., and the late Sally Vullo. Her husband is the son of Hugh and Julie Gaither of Newton, N.C.
The bride wore an ivory lace trumpet mermaid-style gown by Enzoani.

Nicole Gibb, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Corri Smith, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Liz Carter, sister of the groom, Catherine Leitch, sister of the groom, Beverly Soggs, Courtney Monastra, Morgan Amend, Rita Hayes, Rebecca Therrien and Sarah Pagano. Flower girls were Mia Hayes, Ava Therrien and Lena Soggs.
Best man was Hugh Gaither, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Joseph Gaither, brother of the groom, Dauntae Finger, Samuel Younts, Rowan Driscoll, Alex McGhee, Joseph Ryan, Chuck Dukes, Todd Carter and Christopher Leitch. Honorary ring bearer was Boden Gibb.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Bowling Green State University. She is employed as a design consultant in Charlotte, N.C. Her husband is a 2000 graduate of Davidson College in Davidson, N.C. He is vice president at Flagship Brands in Conover, N.C.
They honeymooned in Hawaii on the islands of Maui and Kauai.
They are living in Charlotte, N.C.
