Dr. Ronald Merino has joined Jamestown Area Medical Associates as an internal medicine physician, specializing in the care of adult illness and its prevention.
Merino earned a doctor of medicine and surgery degree from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru, in 1992 and completed a cardiology fellowship at the Hospital Nacional Edgardo Rebagliati Martins in Lima, Peru, in 2002. Between 1992 and 2007, he practiced as a general practitioner and a cardiologist in Lima, Peru. Dr. Merino completed his residency in internal medicine at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, in 2010. Dr. Merino is board eligible.
Merino's internal medicine office is located at the Riverwalk Center Building, 15 S. Main St., Suite 150, in Jamestown. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 488-1878. Merino is accepting new patients, he is fluent in Spanish and accepts most major insurance payers. Merino is affiliated with WCA Hospital.
