Albert J. and Arlene Rodriguez Kennedy of Jamestown, N.Y., celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with the renewal of their vows and a surprise party at the home of the bride's parents, Nicholas and Miriam Rodriguez. The celebration was hosted by their daughters, Jennifer and Lisa Kennedy. The ceremony was performed by Head Elder David Maines. Members of their original ceremony, including best man, Steve Rodriguez, and maid of honor, Deanna Emmott, both cousins of Mrs. Kennedy, stood as witnesses. Out-of-state guests attended from Pennsylvania and Florida.
Kennedy and the former Arlene Rodriguez were married July 27, 1985, in the Methodist Church in Jamestown, N.Y.
Kennedy is employed as a maintenance man at Crawford Furniture and National Wire and Metal Technology of Jamestown. Mrs. Kennedy is employed by Tops Supermarkets as an assistant deli manager.
