Sam and Allene Nalbone of 15 Eaglesfield Way, Fairport, N.Y., formerly of Jamestown, N.Y., celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Oct. 23, 2010, with a dinner party at Delmonico's Italian Steakhouse in Rochester, N.Y. The celebration was hosted by their children: Sandy (Craig) Olson of Coppell, Texas, Carl Fred Nalbone of Long Beach, Calif., and Steve (Sherry) Nalbone of Franklin Lakes, N.J.; their grandchildren: Jenn (Jamie) Pucci of Fairport, N.Y., and Steve (Lauren) Olson of Greece, N.Y.; and their great-grandsons: Ty and Sammy Pucci of Fairport, N.Y.
Nalbone and the former Allene Johnson were married Oct. 20, 1945, in St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Jamestown, N.Y. The Rev. Austin Bellario performed the ceremony. Their attendants were Phil Fasciano and Joyce Erlandson.
Nalbone retired from the City of Jamestown as ombudsman. They are members of the Lakewood Rod and Gun and Jamestown Boys' Club Alumni. They are former members of the Vikings, Eagles, Moose and South Hills Country Club.
