The Post-Journal
The Innovate Warren Development has invited interested residents and businesses to an information presentation and community dialogue meeting at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 5 at the Holiday Inn, Warren. The meeting will feature a panel discussion with representatives of the public/private partnership, or P3, strategy, including The City of Warren, GRO-Warren, the Pennsylvania Alliance for Cooperative Innovation, the Penn State University Center for Economic and Community Development, and other participants, who, after a series of short presentations, will be available for a question and answer session. The P3 business model is being utilized for a roster of projects in Warren, including the Kinzua Riverfront Center (Hotel & Convention Center), The Center for Advanced Education, and other downtown revitalization strategies. The Innovate Warren project team will present a portfolio of community revitalization and economic development projects that are currently underway and will discuss the background and impact of these projects.
