Elderly man charged with rape

A 73-year-old city man is facing charges after an investigation by the Dunkirk Police Department into a sexual conduct complaint against a child. Antonio “Gurin” Rivera, of 91 E. Seventh St., was charged Friday after a secret grand jury indictment on first-degree rape, second-degree rape, third-degree rape and first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child. He is currently being held in the Chautauqua County Jail in Mayville pending arraignment in the Chautauqua County Court.
