Lewis L. ''Pete'' and Judith A. Peterson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner on Aug. 21, 2010. The celebration was hosted by their children: Bill and Chris Peterson of Mayville, N.Y., Margaret and Kevin Dietly of Acton, Mass., and Julie and Jeff Drake of Brewster, Mass. They also have five grandchildren: Adam Peterson of Mayville, N.Y., Megan Dietly of Acton, Mass., and Christian, Andrew and Karli Herwig of Brewster, Mass.
Peterson and the former Judith C. Aldrich were married Aug. 27, 1960, in Hurlbut Church, Chautauqua, N.Y. The late Rev. Charles S. Aldrich, father of the bride, performed the ceremony.
They are the former owners of Camp Prendergast in Mayville, N.Y.
